ZAHRI JOSITA JACKSON is a New York-based Creative Producer, Production Coordinator, and Actor from Prince George’s County, MD. Working across corporate entertainment marketing, independent film, and performance, she brings a production-first lens to storytelling, shaping ideas from development through final delivery with precision, cultural fluency, and a strong visual point of view.
Her creative work centers the inner lives of flawed female protagonists, where loneliness and longing unfold in vivid color and deliberate shadow. As an actor, she has appeared in projects for HBO, Disney+, and Netflix. Behind the camera, Zahri has held production roles at Culture.House Media, Paramount+, and Showtime, supporting high-level campaign workflows, and formerly co-directed the digital publication, TEAM Mag.
A 2021 Gucci Changemaker and member of the Gucci Creative Fellows Program, Zahri earned her BFA in Film & Television from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2022. Her debut short film, In My Garden, premiered at the Black Film Festival of New Orleans, with additional screenings at the Urbanworld Film Festival and Chelsea Film Festival. She is currently in post-production on her sophomore short, $FREE.99.
